Sharon Grantley
Queensland, Australia
Bio: I've been working as a remote area nurse for the past 12 years. I've travelled throughout Indigenous Australian communities from The east to the west coast, the central deserts and Torres Strait islands. I thought I knew my country well until I began this work. I'm currently living in East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. Books and a camera are my constant companions and I hope to add to the world of words and images my impressions of this diverse life. I'm writing a memoir which I'm now looking to publish. I'm a grandma of eight and the wife of Fasi, my Samoan best friend.
